Cottage. Late C17 with minor later additions and alterations. Timber
framed with roughcast infill on sandstone plinth; regularly coursed and
dressed sandstone blocks to left gable end. Slate roof. 2-cell plan.
2 storeys. Framing: square panels, 4 from cill to wall-plate with
light horizontal members dividing top panel. 2 small C19 casements
in panels of framing on each floor, those to first floor directly below
eaves. Boarded door with bracketed gabled hood to left. Integral
end stack to left has red brick shaft.
