SO 39 SE NORBURY C.P. WALKMILL

GV II

Cottage. Probably late C18, extended at right hand end in mid C19. Uncoursed
limestone rubble, slate roofs, projecting end stack with dripstones and
capping to left and ridge stack (also-formerly an end stack) at junction
with C19 addition. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration, 3 C19 casements to
first floor and 4 C19 and C20 windows (second from left formerly a door)
to ground; present entrance to right through late C20 stable-type door with
C19 segmental head. 2-storeyed late C18 range at right angles to rear at
left hand end. Forms a picturesque group with Walkmill Bridge (q.v.) to
south.
