GV II

Summerhouse. Late-C18 or early-C19. Red brick, painted on 3 sides,
with pyramidal graded stone slate roof. Octagonal plan. One storey.
Two 16-pane glazing bar sashes to south flanking boarded double doors.
The summerhouse adjoins the bowling green, created in the C17 or C18 on
flattened top of the former castle motte (q.v. remains of Castle on
Castle site).
