House and shop. C17 with mid-C19 refacing and additions. Timber
framed with painted brick nogging and limestone rubble plinth, stuccoed
to front (scored to represent ashlar); slate roof. Probably 2 framed
bays with first floor extending over carriageway to right. 2 storeys.
Integral brick end stack to left. Framing: square panels
(concealed). 3 first floor mid- to late-C20 metal casements; ground
floor mid-C19 four-pane sash off-centre to left; 4-panelled door to
left with 2 flush bottom panels, pilastered surround, and bracketed
straight hood; mid-C19 shop front to right consisting of 9-pane window
to left, C20 glazed door to right and pilastered surround with frieze
and bracketed cornice. Framing exposed within carriageway to right.
