20 metres to north of White
House Farmhouse

GV II

Cowhouse and cartshed with hayloft and granary over, now cowhouse with
loft. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Weatherboarded timber frame on
high coursed limestone rubble base, and C19 plain tile roof. 5 framed
bays. One storey and loft. Framing: square panels. 2-leaf boarded
cowhouse doors to left alternating with C19 horizontal sliding slatted
windows; 3 bay open-fronted cartshed to right with C20 concrete block
walls. 12 stone steps up to boarded granary door in right-hand gable
end. Interior: tie beam trusses with lower queen struts; grain bins
survive in granary.
