GV II

Farmhouse, latterly 2 cottages, now one. Early and late C17 with mid
to late C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed with rendered
infil panels, coursed limestone rubble gable-end wall to left and high
plinth to right, and roughcast to rear; graded slate roof. Framing:
square panels (4 up to wall plate) with short corner braces to left and
long tension braces to right. L-plan of 3 framed bays. 1 and 2 storeys
with half-basement to right and gable-lit attic. Integral C19 brick end
stack to left and ridge stack on wing to right at rear. First floor C19
metal cross window to left and 2-light C19 casement off-centre to right;
ground floor C19 metal cross window to left, and C19 wooden mullioned
and transomed window to right; C20 gabled porch with planted timbers
and door with 4 flush panels (top 2 lights glazed); boarded basement
door to right. C20 one storey white-painted brick lean-to to left with
boarded door.
