Barn and Shippon approximately 20 metres to north of Oakeley Farmhouse

Barn and shippon. Late C17 barn altered in mid to late C19, and mid to late
C19 shippon. Weatherboarded timber frame on coursed limestone rubble plinth,
high plinth with red brick dressings beneath shippon to south; corrugated
asbestos roof. One and two storeys. Eight framed bays with large shippon to south and
barn to north; carriageway through third bay from north. Shippon with three
boarded loft doors and three boarded ground floor doors. Lower C19 cartshed
attached to south. Interior: queen-strut end trusses to barn with V-struts
above; mid- to late C19 replacement with sawn king-post truss; inclined queen-strut trusses in shippon.
