Upper Broughton Farmhouse

Barn. Late C17 or C18. Timber framed with weatherboarding, uncoursed rubble
plinth, and corrugated iron roof, formerly thatched. 5 framed bays. 1 and 2
storeys. Framing: square panels with angle braces. East front: pair of
large C20 doors to right with boarded loft doors above. Interior: inserted
partial first floor. Queen strut roof trusses with V-struts above in gable
ends.
