Middle Spoad Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Probably late C18. Weatherboarded timber frame on coursed
limestone rubble plinth with corrugated iron roof. 4 framed bays.
Framing: square panels, 2 up to wall plate. 2 boarded doors to
North, loft door in gable-end to West. Interior: tie-beam trusses
with raking queen struts; bay partitions with high stone plinths,
sole plates and long tension braces. Included for group value.
