10/15 Little Hobarris
- Farmhouse and
adjoining Outbuilding

Farmhouse. Probably late C15 or Cl6 with mid-to-late C19 remodelling.
Timber framed, refaced or rebuilt and eaves raised in coursed limestone
and sandstone rubble mix; slate roof. 2 framed bays, possibly fragment
of larger house. 2 storeys. Integral brick end-stack to left. 2-
window front; mid-to-late C19 and C20 two- and 3-light wooden casements.
Lower one-storey corrugated-roofed block to left; boarded door with
bracketed porch to right, boarded door to outbuilding at left. Interior:
central tie-beam and double collar truss with queen struts; central
square-panelled timber framed cross wall with foot of probable cruck
blade visible to South-west; 6-compartment cross-beam ceiling in
ground floor room to left with deep chamfered beams and wall plates;
large open fireplace.
