PENTRE,
Cowhouse approximately 15 metres to North-west of Pentre Farmhouse

GV

II

Cowhouse. Early C19. Weatherboarded timber frame with coursed limestone
rubble ground floor to left, and end walls; slate roof. Probably four
framed bays, aligned North-west/South-east. Two storeys. Loft opening
to left and external steps up to boarded door to right; three ground-floor
boarded doors. The central weatherboarding to the hayloft has been
removed, revealing the timber frame. The building forms part of a
complete large early C19 farm group in the middle of the hamlet.
