SO 27 NE CLUN C.P. PURLOGUE

Pair of farmhouses. Late C16 or Cl7 with mid-to-late C19 remodelling
and additions. Timber framed,refaced or rebuilt and extended in rendered
limestone rubble; slate roof, with steeper pitch to left. End lobby-
entry plan; aligned East-West, aspect South. 2 storeys. Stack behind
ridge off-centre to right and brick end-stack to right. 3-window South
front; C20 two- and 3-light metal casements; central half-glazed door
with C20 gabled porch. Probably late Cl7 or early C18 house adjoining
to left; rendered with slate roof; 2 storeys; rendered integral stone
end-stack to left and C19 stack off-ridge to right at front; 2-window
front, C20 two- and 3-light casement; central half-glazed door with
gabled porch. Interior of right-hand house: ground floor room to
left with C16 or Cl7 deeply chamfered cross-beam ceiling.
