SO 28 SE CLUN C.P. WHITCOTT KEYSETT

GV II

Farmbuilding of uncertain function, probably formerly domestic. C18 or
early C19. Coursed limestone and sandstone rubble mix; slate roof.
T-plan. One storey and attic. 2 gabled eaves-dormers, that to left
with 2-light casement and that to right with sealed C20 window; 3
ground floor 2-light wooden casements; pair of flanking boarded doors.
Late C19 post box in wall off-centre to left; left-hand corner partly
rebuilt in C20 concrete block. Right-hand gable-end with tallet steps
up to boarded loft door. Interior: wing at rear formerly used as malt-
house. Importantly sited at the centre of a closely nucleated hamlet.
