- 25 metres to south-
east of Black Hall

GV II

Barn. Late Cl7 or early C18 with later alterations and additions. Weather-
boarded timber frame with coursed limestone rubble plinth, end and rear
walls; corrugated iron roof. Long range of farmbuildings, 4 bays aligned
north-west/south-east, site falls to south-east. Framing: square panels,
3 up to wall plate. South-west front: 2 square pitching-openings off-centre
to left; 4 boarded doors, 2-leaf to right; 2 boarded pitching doors in
right-hand gable end. Interior: collar and tie-beam trusses with queen
struts. Forms part of a farmstead group [Cf. Black Hall (q.v.)].
