Farmhouse, now house. Probably Cl7 with C18 and mid-to-late C19 alterations
and additions. Pebbledashed limestone rubble; slate roof. One storey and
attic. Large brick ridge stack off-centre to left and integral brick end
stack to right. Large gable to right with 3-light C19 wooden casement,
full dormer off-centre to left with 2-light C19 wooden casement, and C19
gabled eaves dormers above doors off-centre to right and to left with 2-
light wooden casements. 3-window front; C19 and C20 two- and 3-light
casements; half-glazed door to left and 4-panelled door between first
and second windows from right with octagonal top-lights. Full dormer and
2 eaves dormers to rear. Interior: early C18 dog-leg staircase with
landings, closed string, turned balusters, moulded handrail and square
newel posts; early C18 cellar door has ventilated panel with splat balusters
shaped to represent barleysugar turned balusters.
