SO 28 NE MAINSTONE C.P. MAINSTONE

3/233 Old Mill

Former mill-house, now cottage. Probably early C18. Painted coursed
limestone rubble and thatched roof with corrugated iron cladding, hipped
to left. One storey and attic; large brick ridge stack off-centre to
right. 4-window front (3-room plan), 2-light C20 casements; central
half-glazed boarded door. Late C20 flat-roofed addition to left.
Interior: large open fireplace and chamfered beams.
