Barn approximately 20 metres north of Little Brompton Farmhouse

Barn. Early C18 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber frame with corrugated iron cladding to right half on rubblestone and brick plinth, regularly coursed limestone rubble to left gable end, slate roof. Two levels; three eaves hatches and three doors, two paired to centre.

Interior: framing (square panels) visible, weatherboarded partitions, roof in five or six bays with raking struts from tie beams supporting principal rafters. Included for group value. Little Brompton Farmhouse is not included in this list.
