Farmhouse. Late C17, extended mid-C19 with later additions and alterations.
Timber framed with painted brick infill on later painted rubblestone
plinth, roughly coursed left gable end and red brick addition to right
painted black and white in imitation of timber frame; graded slate roof.
Original 2-cell plan with integral end stack to left extended to right
by single bay in mid-C19. One storey and attic. Framing: square panels,
2 from raised cill to wall-plate; late C19 fenestration, 2 casements
to ground floor with gabled eaves dormers directly above; entrance through
C20 timber lean-to porch to left and subsidiary segmental-headed doorway
in C19 addition to right. Integral end stack to left at junction with
C19 rubblestone cowhouse (not included) has C19 red brick shaft. Interior:
inspection not possible at time of re-survey (October 1985) but noted
as having chamfered spine beam to left ground-floor room.
