Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with later additions and alterations.
Regularly coursed limestone and shale slabs with red brick dressings,
slate roof. 3-unit baffle-entry plan. One storey and attic; three
C20 segmental-headed fixed-light windows with lowered cills to ground
floor and gabled eaves dormers directly above; C20 half-glazed door
directly beneath prominent ridge stack to left of centre; large semi-
integral end stack to right. Double-purlin ends visible to left gable
end. Interior: inspection not possible at time of resurvey (October
1985) but noted as having massive chimney breast beneath ridge stack
and infilled inglenook fireplace with segmental chamfered wooden lintel
to left ground-floor room; chamfered ceiling beams.
