Mill, now converted to domestic accommodation. Probably mid to late C18 on earlier site with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed limestone rubble and slab masonry with red brick addition; slate roofs.

Main building is gable fronted with mid-C19 brick addition to left. Three storeys over basement to main building; two storeys with dentilled eaves cornice to C19 addition. Late C20 top-hung aluminium-framed casements and fixed-light windows throughout but retaining original segmental heads, two on first floor of main building with one above to gable; another on ground floor to right of C20 stable door which also has original segmental head. Brick addition has two windows on first floor and two on ground floor, left in position of former doorway. Narrow red brick stack at junction of main range and C19 addition. Rough quasi-boulder steps to front include part of millstone. Mill race to rear has small, probably early C20, iron wheel and pumping equipment. A brick-lined mill pond (not included in this list) lies nearby to northwest.
