Cottage. Probably C17, extended in late C18 or C19 with later alterations.
Rendered timber frame and brick addition on rendered plinth; slate roof.
Original 2-cell plan extended to right in late C18 or C19. One storey and
attic. Two C19 casements to ground floor, right with segmental head; C19
gabled eaves dormer to left of centre. Entrance to right through boarded
door with semi-circular hood. Red brick ridge stack to right of centre
(formerly to gable end) with subsidiary stack in bottom of roof slope to left.
Projecting double-purlin ends. Interior. Inspection not possible at time
of resurvey (July 1986) but noted as having 2 deep-chamfered spine beams and
heavy joists to left ground-floor room. Large chimney breast below ridge
stack.
