Farmhouse. Mid-to late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber
framed with rendered infill and red brick rebuilding on rubblestone plinth;
slate roof. Original 2-cell plan extended mid-C20 by full-length lean-to
to rear, carried up as gable to left. One storey and gable-lit attic.
Framing: square panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate with more substantial members
to 2 below girding beam. Collar and tie beam end truss with V-struts from
collar to left. C20 casement in panel of framing to right of boarded door
under corrugated iron porch. C19 external red brick end stack to right and
subsidiary stack to back wall on left. Rendered rubblestone to far right
probably indicates width of original end stack. Interior. Not inspected
but likely to be of interest.
