Barn approx 20m north of Woodside Farmhouse

Barn. Late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded and corrugated iron-
clad timber frame on rubblestone plinth; corrugated iron roof. Threshing barn
with hay-loft over cow stalls to 2 east bays. South side has scattered doorways
and window openings with C20 corrugated iron and concrete block lean-to roughly
to centre. Interior. Framing visible: vertical posts and square panels.
Single-purlin roof in 6 bays with raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters.
Loft to 2 east bays rests on large branches running along axis of barn with smaller
branches at right-angles across. Another loft to west bay and raised threshing
floor in third bay from west.
