4/41 U-shaped range of barns

Three barns. Probably late C18 or early C19 with later additions and
alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble with triangular air vents; slate
roofs. Form U-shape around former farmyard; possible former horse
engine house attached to centre range on north and gabled outbuilding to west
range. 2 levels. Centre range has wide opposing double doors to centre
with scattered segmental-headed windows and doorways to either side.
Similar openings to east and west ranges and pigeon nesting holes and
ledges to gable of east range. Interior: main range has cowshed beneath
hayloft. Collar and tie beam roof trusses raised in C19 to form double-
purlin roof structure. Coston Manor is not included in this list.
