Barn. Late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded and corrugated
iron clad timber frame with rubblestone to south gable end; slate roof.
Built in 2 sections with 2 bays to right of break. Framing: square and
rectangular panels, 2 from cill to wall-plate, to left part and vertical
posts to back wall of right part. Entrance to far left and external
lateral stone steps to left gable end leading to loft. Interior: double-
purlin roof in 5 bays with raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters
and braces from wall posts to tie beams. Loft to 3 left bays. Encloses
east side of farmyard.
