3/71 Former malthouse
- immediately to east of
Old Farmhouse

Malthouse, now agricultural building. Probably early C19 with later
alterations. Roughly coursed limestone rubble; corrugated iron roof.
3 windows on first floor to left with plank door to right of centre
approached by external stone steps. Interior: equipment removed but
retains 3 malting floors. Roof in 5 bays has short wall posts rising
from girding beams of attic floor with shout curving braces to tie beams,
which support king posts. Included for group value.
