Barn. Late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber frame
on high rubblestone plinth, lower to right end; corrugated iron roof.
Original barn of 3 framed bays with 2 bays to right added slightly later.
2 levels. 3 eaves hatches; 4 doorways, including wide opening to right
of centre, and window to left. Interior: framing visible. Irregular
square and rectangular panels, jowled wall posts. Roof has mixture of
queen-strut trusses and raking struts from tie beams to principal rafters,
including double truss at junction between 2 sections. Continuous loft,
missing to third bay from left at time of resurvey (August 1986). Included
for group value.
