Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with painted brick infill, roughcast to front and gable ends; machine tile roof.

One storey and attic; apparently of three framed bays, right bay possibly a later addition. Framing: exposed to rear, square panels, three from cill to wall-plate. Mid-C20 casements, one to left and two to right of C20 gabled porch to left of centre, which has small C20 casement immediately above. Three mid-C20 gabled eaves dormers. Integral end stack with red brick shaft to left and red brick ridge stack to right. C19 rubblestone lean-to to rear on right.

Interior: inspection not possible at time of resurvey (August 1986) but said to have timber frame substantially intact and chamfered ceiling beams to ground-floor rooms.
