Barn approx. 20m south-west of Moor House

Barn. Mid-and late C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber
frame on rubblestone plinth; corrugated-iron roofs. Mid-C17 three-bay
barn with late C17 two-bay addition to west. Scattered eaves hatches and
doorways to both sections. INTERIOR: framing visible; square panels, three
from cill to wall-plate with long straight tension braces, including to bay
divisions. Rubblestone plinth turns where original barn finished.
Single-purlin roof in five bays with mixture of raking struts from tie beams
to principal rafters and queen-strut trusses, latter type including double
truss at junction between two sections. Continuous loft.
