Cottage, latterly divided, now returned to one dwelling. Mid-Cl7 with
later additions and alterations. Timber framed on rubblestone plinth
with rendered infill; plain tile roof. One storey and attic;
apparently of 2 framed bays. Framing: square panels, 3 from cill to
wall-plate with collar and tie beam end trusses, right with projecting
double-purlin ends and V-struts from collar. Painted brick cladding or
replacement to rear. Two C19 casements to left of C20 plank door, which
has small rectangular overlight above, and 2 to right, left in position of
former doorway. Two prominent gabled eaves dormers (timber framed beneath
render) have 3-light C20 casements. Integral end stack to left with C19
brown brick shaft and subsidiary red brick stack in roof slope to right.
Interior: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
