Cottage. Probably late C17 with later additions and alterations.
Rendered timber frame on rubblestone plinth carried up to left gable
end; straw thatch roof. 2-cell plan. Small C19 casements to left
and right of central boarded door (glazed panel to top) under C20 gabled
timber porch, those to first floor directly under eaves. Integral end
stack to left with red brick shaft. Interior: inspection not possible
at time of resurvey (August 1986) but noted as having chamfered spine
beam and heavy joists to left ground-floor room, which also has inglenook
fireplace with C19 cast-iron cooking range.
