Cottage. Mid-C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with painted brick infill, machine tile roof. 2-cell plan. One storey
and attic; framing: partly replaced to front, rectangular panels, two
from sill to wall-plate with vertical struts from tie beam to collar
to right gable end, short straight tension braces; irregular
fenestration, two late C20 casements on ground floor with C20 gabled eaves
dormer above; entrance through half-glazed C20 door in left return but
position of former door visible in framing to rear; integral red brick
end stack to left with steep-pitched early C19 gabled rubblestone and
brick addition (painted black and white in imitation of timber frame)
abutting. INTERIOR: not inspected but noted as having chamfered
spine beam and heavy joists to left-hand ground-floor room of C17 part.
