Garden wall approx. 25m east of Preen Manor

Garden wall. Circa 1870 by Richard Norman Shaw. Coursed limestone
rubble with ashlar dressings and gabled stone capping. Approximately
25m in length, stepped to centre with pointed double-chamfered
gateway and original heavy panelled door. Preen Manor, built in c.1870-1
by Norman Shaw for Arthur Sparrow, but subsequently largely demolished
and re-built, is not included. Andrew Saint, Richard Norman Shaw
(1976), p.408.
