4/37 Shore Cottage
Cottage. Early C17 with later alterations. Timber framed with painted
brick infill on rendered rubblestone plinth, machine tiler roof. One
storey and attic; 3 framed bays; framing: large square panels, 2
from cill to wall-plate, jowled wall posts; late C19 casements to
left and right of ledged door to right of centre, latter window in
place of blocked doorway with ogee head; C20 glazed door to left
and 2 gabled eaves dormers, one timber framed and other C20 in imita-
tion; axial brown brick stack behind ridge to right and red brick
end stack to left. Interior: not inspected but noted as having
timber frame substantially intact.
