8/45 Blakeway Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid-C18 but probably incorporating parts of an earlier
building. Red brick on chamfered plinth, plain tile roof with raised
verges and integral end stacks. Formerly L-plan but gabled range to
rear on right demolished and replaced by C20 brick extension. 2 storeys
and attic, floor bands; 5 bays, mid-C20 metal casements in original
segmental-headed openings; 3 late C19 gabled eaves dormers; central
entrance, C20 half-glazed door also with segmental head. C20 extensions
to rear are not of special architectural interest.
