House, now divided into 2 cottages. Mid-C17 with later additions and
alterations. Timber framed with painted brick infill; thatch roof
and red brick end stacks, integral to left and external to right. One
storey and attic, apparently of 2 framed bays; framing: square panels,
3 from cill to wall-plate with long straight tension braces and jowled
wall posts; 3-light casements to right of round-arched late C19 gabled
brick entrance porches with raking eaves dormers above; boarded door
to Walnut Cottage (left) and plank door to Holly Cottage (right).
Interior: not inspected but likely to be of interest. C20 single-
storey brick addition to right of Holly Cottage is not of special
architectural interest.
