south of chancel of
Church of St Mary

2 recumbent memorial plates. Circa 1750 and circa 1777. Cast-iron.
Rectangular. That on north, with swagged urn decoration to top,
commemorates in raised lettering Mary Ward (died 1750), her son,
Benjamin (died 1784), and her daughter, Hannah (died 1800); plain
inscription plate to south commemorates her husband, John (died 1777)
of Eye Farm (q.v.) and their son, Thomas (died 1816).
