12/19 Wall adjoining the
- remains of Alberbury
Castle to south-west

GV II

Wall. Probably mid-C19. Coursed Alberbury breccia with red sandstone
dressings and evidence of former limewashing. Aligned approximately
north-south; approximately 50 metres long and 2.5 - 3 metres high. Doorway
at north end with chamfered pointed arch and boarded door. The wall
adjoins the remains of Alberbury Castle (qv) at its north end and the
English Lodge (qv) at its southern end. Included for group value.
