ALBERBURY WITH ALBERBURY ROAD, CARDESTON C.P. (south side),
Milestone approx. 45 metres to west of Stockfield

Milestone. Probably early C19. Red sandstone with triangular top.
Traces of white paint but inscription illegible at time of survey (June 1985).
Bench mark. O. S. map shows inscription as "Shrewsbury ... 7".
Included as one of a series (see B4393, Alberbury). Stockfield is not
included on this list.
