13/63 Forecourt wall approx.
- 20 metres to north-west
of Ford House

GV II

Forecourt wall. Early C18. Red brick with chamfered red sandstone
coping. Approximately 30 metres long and one metre high. Ramped
up to square piers at each end, that to north with pyramidal sandstone
cap and that to right with concave stone cap, probably minus former
globe finial. This section forms part of long length of C18 wall to
the grounds of Ford House (q.v.), including a short section attached
to the stable block (q.v.) to the north and a larger section of garden
wall (q.v.) to south and east.
