GV II

Garden wall. Early C18. Red brick with chamfered red sandstone coping.
Approximately 150 metres long and 1.5 metres high. Ramped down the side of
the garden to the south-east with segmental-arched gateway in line with
lower terrace; depressed-arched boarded door in wall at south-west corner;
square brick gate pier at west end with concave stone cap (probably minus
former globe finial). This section of wall forms part of a large
length of C18 wall to the grounds of Ford House (qv) including a short
section to the forecourt (qv).
