- Former dovecote approximately
5 metres to west of Marche
Manor

GV II

Probable dovecote, now store. Probably C17 or C18, partly demolished
and altered in the late C19. Painted coursed sandstone rubble; C19
pyramidal plain tile roof. Circular plan. One storey. Weathervane.
Square windows to north and south-west; boarded doors to north-west and
south. There are no nest holes in the surviving part of the dovecote
which is linked to Marche Manor (q.v.) by a probably late C19 covered
way. Included for group value. F.E. Forrest, Some old Shropshire
houses and their owners (1924),p. 15.)
