Lower Winnington Farmhouse and adjoining walls and railings

Farmhouse. Early C19. Red brick, on uncoursed rubble plinth at rear;
slate roof. L-plan. 2 storeys. Integral brick end stacks and
integral brick end stack at rear. 3 bays; 16-pane glazing bar sashes
with gauged brick heads; central C20 half-glazed door with intersecting
Gothick tracery in fanlight, reeded architrave with imposts and keystone,
and cast iron Gothic porch with quatrefoil-decorated panels, intersecting
Gothic frieze, and moulded cornice to flat top. C19 and C20
additions at rear. Garden walls and railings to south; red brick
walls with stone dressings; square piers with finials; cast iron
railings to front with square piers flanking central gate. Interior
of house not inspected.
