Farmhouse. Late C16 or C17, remodelled in the late C19 or early C20.
Rendered timber frame, partly rebuilt in painted brick. Plain tile
roof. H-plan. 2 storeys and attic. Large brick stack in front of
ridge off-centre to left with 3 square shafts and brick ridge stack to
right-hand cross wing with 2 square shafts. Pair of gabled dormers to
centre with 2-light wooden casements. 1-:1-:1- window front; C19 or
C20 three-, 4- and 5-light mullioned and transomed wooden casements.
Jettied gables with brackets, planted timbers and 2-light wooden attic
casements. Late C19 or early C20 lean-to porches in angles of cross
wings, with glazed doors. Right-hand return front with jettied gable of
main range. Interior not inspected. Central ground-floor room said
to have a deep-chamfered cross-beamed ceiling.
