Milepost. Early to mid-C19. Cast iron. Triangular section with
chamfered top. Superscribed serif lettering. Top: "ST. MARY. S/PARISH",
left-hand side: "SALOP/3 MILES" and "TO THE COUNTY HALL" and right-hand side:
"B.CHURCH/5ΒΌ MILES" and "TO THE PARISH CHURCH". One of a series of mileposts
on the Shrewsbury-Baschurch road. Crossgreen Farmhouse is not included on
this list.
