- and coach house approx.
20 metres to north-west
of Ness Strange

GV II

Granary, cartshed and coach house, now stable. Late C18 or early C19,
slightly altered in the late C20. Dressed red sandstone; timber framed
first-floor to front with red brick nogging. Hipped slate roof. Framing:
light square panels with long straight tension braces. Two storeys.
Pair of boarded loft openings to centre and boarded loft door to left
approached by external steps. Three bay former cartshed to ground floor
with 2 sandstone columns, now blocked in brick with boarded stable doors.
Former coach house to rear with pair of large boarded doors under
elliptical arch in left hand return front. Lean-to at rear. Interior
not inspected. This building forms part of the complex of outbuildings to
Ness Strange (q.v.).
