3/38 North gates and gate
- piers to Attingham Park
Gates and gate piers. Circa 1805-7. Pair of grey sandstone ashlar piers
with chamfered corners and pyramidal caps, pair of wrought iron gates with
spearhead railings, circular-patterned dog rails with spearheads, and low
arrow-head dog rails. The gates and gate piers are similar to those
adjoining Tern Lodge (q.v.) and probably belong to the same scheme of
landscaping in Attingham Park (q.v.).
