5/41 Former coach house and
- stables approximately
20 metres north-west
of Chilton Grove

GV II

Coach house and stables, now partly garage. Early C19 with late C19 and
later alterations and additions. Red brick with stone cills and hinge
blocks; plain tile roof, hipped to right. L-plan. 2 storeys. Integral
brick lateral stack to north-west. Former coach house to left with 2
boarded loft doors (that to left with segmental head), ground floor has
blank window to left, and coach house entrance to right with depressed
arch. Stables projecting to right; loft door to front with partly-
blocked ground-floor window beneath; left-hand return front with half-
glazed door. C20 garage doors inserted in later lean-to to south-east.
Interior: stables have 3 loose boxes with wooden partitions.
