Short section of wall and gate pier adjoining Longner Hall to north

Wall and gate pier. Circa 1803, by John Nash. Red sandstone ashlar.
Tudor Gothic style; approximately 4 metres long and 4 metres high. Plinth,
and string course to battlemented coping. Chamfered recessed Latin cross
to front. Octagonal gate pier to right; has battlemented parapet to pyramidal
cap with globe finial. Humphry Repton landscaped the grounds at Longner
circa 1803-4 and his Red Book is kept in the house.
