Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with plastered infill, plain tile roofs. 3-bay hall and one-bay cross-
wing (possibly later) projecting to left. 2 storeys over cellars; framing:
much renewed and some planted, 4 very regular square panels from cill to
wall-plate, short tension braces; gable ends have V-struts from the collars;
irregular fenestration, 4 late C19 casements to first floor of hall and one
on ground floor to either side of half-glazed door under contemporary gabled
porch; red brick ridge stack with moulded capping immediately to left of
entrance; the cross-wing has a late C19 casement on first floor and a
canted bay window to ground. A lower 2-storey range (probably mid-C19)
projects at right-angles to rear on right. Salop Fire Insurance plate over
porch numbered 5334.
